I am pleased to announce that this year's school nativity will be "A Midwife Crisis".
Auditions for the main speaking parts will occur on Monday, September 30th, 2024, as part of Drama Club. They are open to children in Years 2, 3, and 4.
Below are the lyrics for the Star Song, which is a solo singing part.
You can also find a copy of the audition script. Children need only be familiar with the text; they don't need to know any part by heart.
Main Speaking Parts
Narrators -should be confident storytellers.
Midwife -bubbly but likes to be in charge. The actor needs to be able to show a range of emotions and look flustered.
Steve the Donkey -is the Midwife’s put-upon sidekick with humorous lines.
Sing Part
STAR Non-speaking part, but has two solo verses in The Star Song
Please note that there are many small speaking roles, and everyone who auditions will be given a speaking part.
