School Uniform

All children at Old Cleeve are expected to wear school uniform as it contributes to the child's feeling of belonging to the school.  Children should dress in the following uniform:

BOYS  GIRLS
Navy knitted jumper with the school logo  Navy knitted jumper or cardigan with the school logo
Grey trousers (not jeans or jogging bottoms)     Grey skirt or pinafore or trousers (not jeans or jogging bottoms)
Navy polo shirt with or without the school logo   Navy polo shirt with or without the school logo 
Grey shorts (summer and up to Christmas on warmer days) Blue and white checked dress (summer and up to Christmas on warmer days) 
Grey socks  

Grey tights, white or grey socks

Sensible black shoes (no trainers or boots)   Sensible black shoes (no trainers or boots)  

 

In P.E. Children should wear wear a plain, round-necked t-shirt with the school logo in their house colour and black shorts.  Trainers must be black or white.  Daps may be worn for now but may be phased out.

 

P.E. kit should be in school at all times in a named drawstring bag.  Jewellery should not be worn, although children with pierced ears may wear one stud in each ear.

Hairstyles

We wish to promote each individual person and style, whilst at the same time avoiding unnecessary extremes.  These include brightly coloured dyes, braids (for safety reasons only), shaven or very closely cropped hair.  Long hair is to be kept tied back.
