School Uniform

All children in the Quantock Academy are expected to wear school uniform as it contributes to the child's feeling of belonging to the school.  Each school in the Quantock Academy retains it's own identity and colour.  However, please note that the wearing of school unifrom is compulsory across the Academy.

In P.E. Children should wear wear a plain coloured round-necked t-shirt in their house colour and black shorts.  Slip on plimsolls should be worn for P.E. in Reception Class, Mill Class and River Class.  Torre Class and Abbey Class to wear trainers - no plimsolls.  We do encourage tracksuits but must be black or navy.  Old Cleeve Sports Hoodies are available to buy from the school.

 

P.E. kit should be in school at all times in a named drawstring bag.  Jewellery should not be worn, although children with pierced ears may wear one  stud in each ear.

 

Hairstyles

We wish to promote each individual person and style, whilst at the same time avoiding unnecessary extremes.  These include brightly coloured dyes, braids (for safety reasons only), shaven or very closely cropped hair.
